Pikasso Algeria wins Garden City advertising concession

Pikasso Algeria is pleased to inform you of the launch of the exclusive advertising concession of Garden City Mall which will open its doors to the public in April 2021.

Garden City is the first Lifestyle Mall in Algeria, located in Cheraga in the western part of the bay of Algiers.

The design of Garden City draws its references from Mediterranean and “Algerian” architectural codes. This Lifestyle Mall has been conceived as a modern Casbah, 5 blocks on either side of a central 300-meter pedestrian street, dotted with fountains and water jets, green spaces and rest areas.

In short: you will find the pedestrian experience of your dreamed City Center for an agreeable shopping pleasure and moments of relaxation, in a safe environment.

Garden City has a built-up area of 85,000 m2 with a GLA of 25,000 m2 spread over 4 levels that includes:
  • 120 Shops among others Zara & Zara Home, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Maison du  Monde and plenty of renowned local and international brands.
  • 25 Restaurants & Cafés
  • One Food Court
  • One supermarket UNO of 3000m2
  • 3 Parkings Levels with 800 car spaces.

The expected footfall will be on a low average 18,000 visitors per day, and on a high average 30,000 visitors per day, during weekends and holidays.
Pikasso Algeria will roll-out a Digital Large Format portrait screen in the central pedestrian alley, a Channel Network of 16 LCD totem screens, Static Large Formats, Backlits, and Special Wraps.

Garden City Life Style developed by the Ramdane Group through the CM Invest company is part of a vast architectural ensemble that includes a Business Center tower, the Holiday-Inn hotel, a park of upscale villas and apartment buildings.

Tarik Bey Ramdane Designer Architect described: “This Lifestyle Mall project was designed to reproduce an itinerary in a city center universe while respecting the best international standards, through the assembly of volumes of different scales, the redundant treatment, both in elevation, as well as in plan, which allows a succession of encounters with small squares, decorative elements, shaded areas, and wings that hosts the shops and cafes, delivering a Medina effect. The commercialization of the Center has been entrusted to Kamal Jean Rizk from KR Advisory. This commercialization has been completed since December 2020. Algiers will soon experience a new open-air shopping concept; the variety and quality of the offering will be ensured by 120 commercial brands” he concludes.
