Rules and Regulations

1. The objective of the awards is to honor and encourage the highest standards of creativity throughout Lawhat networks.

Entries will be judged on the basis of three criteria; the originality of the creative idea, the quality of its execution and its suitability as a visual.

When applying these criteria, the jury will also take into consideration the relative level of creative standards in each market; privileging campaigns conceived and executed locally in terms of concepts, visuals, graphics and typography.

2. The awards consist of six separate national competitions: Algeria, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Mali. Each competition is open to entries that have been created and produced by advertising agencies operating within the country in question.

3. The jury is made up of 10 members:
Mr. Alain Weill, French Expert in Contemporary Art and Advertising Creation, is the President of the Jury and nominates its members in collaboration with Pikasso organization.
Mr. Andrew Rawlins, founder of the EPICA Award, is the Secretary General.
In addition to the President, the Secretary General and representatives from Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia and Mali, there will be 2 representatives from Lebanon and one from the agency that won the Lebanese Pikasso d'Or the previous year. However the same individual may not represent his/her agency more than once every four years.

4. The jury will meet in Beirut on February 27th, 2019. The jury deliberations will be carried out in French and English.
