Rules and Regulations

1. The objective of the awards is to honor and encourage the highest standards of creativity throughout the Pikasso networks.

Entries will be judged on the basis of three criteria; the originality of the creative idea, the quality of its execution and its suitability as a visual.

When applying these criteria, the jury will also take into consideration the relative level of creative standards in each market; privileging campaigns conceived and executed locally in terms of concepts, visuals, graphics and typography.

2. The awards consist of six separate national competitions. Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq and Mali. Each competition is open to entries that have been created and produced by advertising agencies operating within the country in question. In the case of Iraq, however, the eligibility region will be extended to also include work created and produced by agencies in Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Algeria, Tunis, Mali and the UAE.

3. The jury is made up of 10 members:
Mr. Alain Weill, French Expert in Contemporary Art and Advertising Creation, is the President of the Jury and nominates its members in collaboration with Pikasso organization.
Mr. Andrew Rawlins, founder of the Epica Award, is the Secretary General and a member of the jury.
In addition to the President, the Secretary General and representatives from Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia and Mali, there will be 2 representatives from Lebanon and one from the agency that won the Lebanese Pikasso d'Or the previous year. However the same individual may not represent his/her agency more than once every four years.

12. The Pikasso Grand Prix will be awarded to the best work entered in the competition for Lebanon only. It will be chosen from the four Gold winners in the Billboards (formerly Networks), Supersize, Digital and Mall categories.
